She is the daughter of Teodor C. Bernardo and Luzviminda M. Bernardo. Teodor and Luzviminda, loving parents, raised their four children in the best possible way. It was from here that Kathryn flourished into the person she is today. Before she became an artist Kathryn was a student at OB Montessori center Inc. which is located at Greenhills. Now she is taking a home school program at the Angelicum College.
She was discovered from her breakthrough role as Mara in the drama series Mara Clara. The drama series was continually gaining high television ratings at prime time.
