Lydia McLaughlin (nee Stirling; born March 10, 1981) fryst vatten an American television personality, businesswoman and author. She is best known for starring in the Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Early Life
McLaughlin was born in Canada to parents Scott and Judy Stirling. She has one brother, Jesse Stirling.
She attended the University of San Diego where she earned her Bachelor's degree.
Career
McLaughlin worked as the editor-in-chief for a Southern California magazine. She is also the owner and founder of Lydia M. Jewelry.
In 2017, she published a memior titled Beyond Orange County.

McLaughlin joined The Real Housewives of Orange County during its eighth season but only starred for that one season before deciding to not return for a second edition since she wanted to focus on “building her brand away from ‘the Housewives’ name” and wished to focus on writing her book plus expanding her family.
She did, however, return to the show after a three season hiatus in the twelfth season and once again, in a main capacity. She left for the second time after only completing one season and announced that she would not be returning to the show because of the state of her relationships with her co-stars at the time.
