Carole Bouquet (born 18 August 1957[1]) is a French actress who has appeared in more than 60 films since 1977. In 1990, she was awarded the César Award for Best Actress for her role in Too Beautiful for You.
Life and career
[edit]Bouquet was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine.[1] She made her film acting debut in Luis Buñuel's surrealist classic That Obscure Object of Desire (1977).[2] Bouquet portrayed the Bond girl Melina Havelock, opposite Roger Moore in the 1981 James BondfilmFor Your Eyes Only. She received a César Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Rive droite, rive gauche (1984), and won the César Award for Best Actress for her performance in Too Beautiful For You (1989).[3]
In the 1980s, she was a model for French luxury fashion label Chanel, being the face of Chanel No. 5.[4][5][6] She was the face of Chanel No. 5 fragrance from 1986 to 1

Jean-Pierre Rassam (14 October 1941 – 28 January 1985) was a French film producer of the 1970s. He was found dead, age 43, in his suite at the Plaza Athénée,[1][2] the cause of death being barbiturate overdose, in 1985.[1]
Career
[edit]With his brother-in-law, Claude Berri, they played a role in the production of Miloš Forman's The Firemen's Ball (1967) and bought international rights.[3]
Rassam worked as an assistant to Jean-Luc Godard and then went on to produce Godard's 1972 film Tout va bien which was also co-directed by Jean-Pierre Gorin.[3]
As well as his film production credits, he also made contributions to The Mother and the Whore (1973) and Tess (1979).[1][3]
He was critical of Gaumont Film Company and unsuccessfully tried to buy them in 1974.[3]
