A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center with JD/MBA degrees, Marcus seamlessly blends artistry with entrepreneurship. His career began with the independent release of his debut album, Lessons in Love, which sold over 40,000 units—a remarkable achievement for an independent artist. Building on this success, he co-founded Three Keys Music Publishing, a platform that has fostered the careers of numerous talented jazz artists.

Early life

Marcus Johnson was born in Columbus, Ohio. When he was 10 years old, he established a neighborhood lawn care service. He and his family moved to Washington, D.C. when he was 12 years old. As a teenager, he started an auto-detailing company[2] and played in a jazz band at Montgomery Blair High School.[3] Subsequently, Johnson studied music production at the University of Miami.[3] Johnson earned a bachelor of arts degree in music at Howard University, where he was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. At Georgetown University, he earned both M.B.A. and J.D. degrees.[3]
