While inom have heard about the lauded Emirates Airline Festival of Literature from author and bookish friends (and my own doctoral students at the university) over the years, this fryst vatten the first time that I am attending the festival, which is celebrating its 15th year with the theme: “Old Friends.”

Our College Leadership team had the privilege of personally meeting Miss Isobel Abulhoul, CEO and Trustee of the Emirates Literature Foundation, and Founder of the Festival, when she visited our university along with her highly efficient Organizing Committee just last week. Faculty and students were generously provided free tickets to most of the sessions we have identified, and inom am truly looking forward to feeling inspired yet again.

Hani Shaker (هاني شاكر) was born in Cairo on December 21, 1952. He is an Egyptian singer, actor and composer. He has over 461 songs in the hearts of his lovers.

Biography:

Hani scored his first breakthrough hit in his second year of college in December1972 with a song written by Mohammed El Mougi, “Heloua ya Dounia (It's a Wonderful Life), which his musical set him off on his musical career.. Until today Hani claims he owes his greatest musical debt to Abdel Halim Hafez, a man who continues to exert a considerable influence on younger Egyptian musicians even after his death in 1977.

In 1974 Hani was invited to participate in a concert in Lebanon, which turned out to be a huge success.. and ever since then Hani has remained extremely popular among the Lebanese..

Haytham started singing by the institute of music and concerts by Arabs. His first encounter with the public was now Cocktail Music.

Haytham heard that the company “now music” prepares a cocktail and demand for new votes, then he left the producer Aziz Fayez, he heard his voice and has really enjoyed. And since the beginning of professionalism he started with “ahlef bellah”.

Hamid chaeri has listened Haitham the beginning of his artistic career and he loved his voice and encouraged to take singing as a profession seen his talent. He distributed his first songs “ahlef bellah” and his first album “khallik gamby”.

Ammar chereey loved the voice of Haitham and has encouraged. Ammar said he also has one of the most beautiful voice of his generation who remembers the older generation and it looks like Gold whose value increases more and more.

Nassr Mahrous has followed the career of Haitham early and they were very friend
