    Rudranil Ghosh was born on 18 April 1973 in stad i indien, West Bengal, India. He completed his education in Kolkata and developed a keen interest in acting from a young age. Rudranil started his acting career in the late 1990s with theater productions and gradually transitioned into the world of cinema.

    He made his film debut with the Bengali movie “Tin Ekke Tin” in 2002, directed by Rabi Kinagi. However, it was his role in the film “Kahaani” (2012), directed by Sujoy Ghosh, that brought him widespread recognition.     Rudranil Ghosh completed his early education at Santragachi Kedarnath Institution, Howrah[5] under West Bengal State Board. He graduated from the Narasinha Dutt College, which is affiliated with the University of Calcutta, in 1995.

    Political career

    Initially he was a student leader of the Left Front,[6] later joined in the Trinamool Congress and became the chairman of the West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education and Training.[7] Thereafter in 2021, he became a member of Bharatiya Janata Party[8] and contested Bhabanipur Assembly constituency in the 2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election[9] against AITC leader Sovandeb Chatterjee and lost by a margin of 28,719 votes.
