Roddy’s Biography
Roddy began his career with Bohemians and made his senior debut in August 1979 and over the next seven years he played for five different clubs; Bohemians (twice), Home Farm, Athlone Town, Drogheda United and Dundalk.
In January 1986 Roddy made the move to England when he signed for Mansfield Town. He also played for Newport County and Cheltenham Town before returning to Ireland in 1988 to join Shamrock Rovers.
After a year with Rovers Roddy had stints at Dundalk and Sligo Rovers before moving north of the border to play for Glentoran in the Irish League in 1991. His spell at The Oval was brief and he soon moved on to another Belfast club, Crusaders where he played for three years. He also played for Bangor and Cliftonville before returning south in 1995.
In the last two years of Roddy's playing career he turned out for Bohemians, Home Farm, Larne and St Francis, after which he embarked on an extensive career in management.

Biography

[edit]Mullinar born in Hereford, Hertfordshire, emigrated to Australia in 1966, at the urging of an Australian friend in London, Bill Hunter. He relocated to Sydney with his first wife Liz who was at that time also an actor but would soon become a well-known casting agent.[1]
Career
