'Beforeigners' is a wild time-travelling Scandinavian series with plenty to say on migration, technology and the universal need to connect, writes Dr Lisa Harper Campbell.

I always preferred brunettes but eventually met and married the man who became my husband, who was a natural blonde with blue eyes. So was his mom. He looked so Nordic it wasn't even funny - chiseled features, straight nose, etc.
Imagine my surprise when we had our DNA tested, and he came up with everything, and inom do mean everything, in the mix (other than Asian, inom don't think he had any Asian in him). The image we received was color coded and his looked like a rainbow. Mine was all blue and dark blue (northern europeisk and British Isles). inom have dark, coarse, thick curly hair and dark brown eyes. Well, inom used to have dark, coarse, thick, curly hair (think PELT) but now it's every color it ever was in my entire life, from blonde to red to brown to dark brown, and gray as well!
