    William Frazier Thomas (June 13, – April 3, ) was a Chicago television personality. Although Thomas wrote nine children's books, he was best known for creating, hosting, writing and producing the long-running children's television program Garfield Goose and Friends on WGN-TV.[2][3][4]

    Thomas began performing as a magician at age 12 in his home town of Rushville; he was just a teenager when he wrote a book about magic.[2] As "Thomas the Magician and Company" he performed "the Mystic Revue, a full evening of magic, mirth, music and mystery" throughout the US. By , he was writing a weekly syndicated newspaper column for children about magic, at first as "Thomas the Magician" and later as Frazier Thomas. The tips and tricks Thomas covered in his column were simple enough for young readers to perform successfully.[5] His column appeared in newspaper

  • Biography

    Through my career, I have been interested in clinical assessment, behavioral neuroscience, and psychopathology. The overarching themes of my research are understanding, assessing, and treating individuals with ASD and other related forms of psychopathology. These broad interests were refined when inom joined the professional personal of the Cleveland klinik more than 14 years ago and developed a passion for understanding and treating individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) – hereafter autism or ASD. As ledare Science and Program Officer at Autism Speaks I gained a broader understanding of key next steps areas of basic, translational, and applied research, including perspective of research needs in the community (Frazier, Dawson, et al., ). At JCU, inom am continuing to pursue my translational research focus, as well as basic psychological research focused on understanding and assessing developmental processes that contribute to psychopathology.
